Re: Need crepe paper SEAMLESS bump, please help.
Well, as far as I know (and while in beta, I also tested it a bit), CrazyBump can "only" generate the 3D texture maps from a given texture although it is said to be the best at this on the (affordable?) market. PixPlant can also generate seamless textures from photos you use as "cores...

Re: Need crepe paper SEAMLESS bump, please help.
Here is a diffuse, a bump and a normal map (can be used to make a Kerkythea material) generated from your first, red creep image (I've just bought PixPlant, let me be the helpful guy for the first time)

Re: Advice?
...In regards to the spherical vs cube faces issue I was planning to do that because of the not-quite-perfect spherical renderings in Twilight (you get some ugly pinching (AKA nadir/zenith-stars) at the poles). That it also decreases RAM requirements is a plus, and as my viewer plugin, FPP, prefers...

Re: Advice?
To be on the safer side (RAM wise), I would go for the 6xsquare images. You need smaller one each than one big, spherical image. Also, make sure not to use images for the 2D - I mean no image entities but explode them so that they are faces with the image as texture applied. It is much faster than t...

Re: TWR Same features?
Are there any other features that is compromise like the export function to KT and the 800x600 image resolution output? However, you must have a valid license on each machine or Twilight Render will run in demo mode. Those (and the logo watermark) are the "symptoms" of the demo mode actua...

CameraKeyMaker 1.0
Subject: [Plugin] CameraKeyMaker 1.0 This plugin generates smooth animations based on a camera path (bezier spline). Camera keys are editable and saved within the drawing. Yes, apparently very nice, smooth animations. :thumb: :thumb: :thumb: I wonder how they can be "translated" into 3rd ...

Re: plaster material
I know something about Roman towns...I'm from Turin. ;) And we also have a World Heritage site which is actually a Late Roman / Early Christian cemetery with lots of chapels and burial chambers some of which are painted with beautiful murals (the kind that are in the Roman catacombs). Some Google i...

Re: plaster material
Well, it's my own home town. For the last century or so, when there were constructions and such, archaeological finds have been recorded (with more or less accuracy). Lately, of course, this accuracy is greater so we already have the stuff to start from. But of course, there are white areas where I ...

Re: plaster material
Thanks Massimo a lot. In fact, I may build a couple of colour variations - slightly "tinted" with certain different colours. I am working on building a Roman town  and I need a bunch of "dummy" houses to fill the unknown areas in. These plaster/stucco whatever materials are...
