I used refraction (1.1) and shiness (14000) any suggestions

IOR is dependant on the material. Plastic is IOR 1.1 or something... depends on the plastic.
1.33 for water
1.52 for glass
maybe try IOR of Glass.

This is the final enhancment and I will start a new excercise today I am pretty happy with the result. Thanks to all the comments and directions you gave me every one.

Nice final image, For the floor I used ceramic preset shininess at 85000, and this map.

I had the same problem with the flooring once before.
check this topic:

apparently it happens when the back face is painted with the same material as well.If changing that doesn't work, then reverse the face in sketchup and apply the material on the reversed face. Hope it helps.
