Re: my starting attempts

I wonder what happens when there is a bit bigger wind (no storm or hurricane just "wind")
:D

Of course, that won't degrade anything of the grandeur of the render! :^:

Re: Searching for Concrete Material

Also, Arroway has a couple of fine concrete textures (lower resolution versions available for non commercial use only but come with bump and specular maps):

Re: QTVR Twilight

Thanks for the tip, Toshiharu! Will check out definitely :^:
(I don't really like these QT Panoramas myself, either, too much).

Re: QTVR Twilight

Well, guys I think the better (higher) rendering preset seems to have helped. Here is the output: http://www.gaieus.hu/su/videos/CarmeliteTwilight.mov (Please, forgive the poor modelling and texturing faults - it is really just a "quick test" for the seamless output, and I made this thing ...

Re: QTVR Twilight

I can also imagine that using physical sky would be the key here (I used one of those tree background images). Anyway, I am off to "pubtown" now so I left it on batch rendering at 07 High+ (this will take care of the light leaks, too, hopefully) to see if this more accurate rendering will ...

Re: Terra Sigillata

Wow, the second image looks real... :gj: Well, on top of all, I realised that I should use some unbiased, progresive rendering methods for SSS materials so that will be the next step. Miguel; well I am also excited about this, you can imagine - problem is that I also need to live on something so of...

Re: White translucid curtain material, any solutions? Thanks! :)

Silu,

You will need to use some progressive render preset (for your interiors, see Easy 9-10-11) for these SSS materials to get a desired result.
