Re: How to use materials from Kerkythea?
I will take this opportunity to point out again that if you apply a hi-res texture in SketchUp, it will load a low res version of it, but the hi-res image will 'pass thru' to Twilight, and you will be rendering the hi-res texture... Re: How to use materials from Kerkythea?
Kerkythea has its own way of importing these *.mat.zip files and will take care of unzipping/installing them to the proper folders.
Twilight then should be able to read this folder nicely.

Hi Daniel,
Indeed, long time no see.
So you are already preparing for this coming winter!![Smile :)](./images/smilies/icon_e_smile.gif)
True that adding these lights can give much to the models. Looking forward to seeing some images with (maybe) other materials like Miguel suggested.

Re: Dirt Maps
Cool Effects, Miguel, thanks. I've been wondering for a while why images (imported as such) do not cause Z-fighting with the texture on the face they are attached on but hey, who cares if this can be turned into a cool trick like this. ![Image](http://forums.sketchucation.com/images/smilies/thumbu.gif)

Re: My TV Console
Nice renders, Sandy.
As a housewife however, you should stick to your original solution/colours as the dust will collect and be very ugly on that black surface very easily and quickly.

(Well, at least at the frequency I do my apt, it would be very bad)![Rolling Eyes ](./images/smilies/icon_rolleyes.gif)

Re: Alpha maps?
Additionally, when (ideally) you make a Face me component of this png image, you can always hide those edges inside the copmponent so the won't be bothering too much even in SU (true that the shadow will still be a simple rectangle in SU). and just one tip for those who incidentally cannot save tran...

Re: licenses
Well, in fact that's the Options button in the TL Toolbar (see attached) Gear.jpg Press the "Request license" button and it will generate a file which you will need to email to where it says. In return, you will get your license code. Note that generate the license file always on the compu...

Re: Need Grass?
Here is another one in the Warehouse. I made patches by randomly rotating the grass around the z axis but if you wish, you can extract the individual grass components and make it something like Pete's above: http://sketchup.google.com/3dwarehouse/details?mid=7855528f6b0f76e9440b5e85fc05fc55 I have a...

Thanks, Kim, I1ll try that. I must have seen it but it may have slipped my memory (and at least the Earth model is older than Twilight)
