Re: How to prevent color casting?

I forgot to mention that the scene is indoor with skyportals, so the transparent background doesn't apply to my case.
Is there a way to solve this?
Thanks

How to prevent color casting?

I'm trying to create a green-screen material so I can do some fast tests on the final rendered image using Photoshop.
I created a green material and rendered the image but the material casts a lot of green (color) in the scene. Is there a way to prevent this behaviour?
Thanks

Re: New pc spec, thoughts?

Thanks Pepe, as built by the supplier with five years warranty. The price of £5k was for another monster system which had 128gb ram etc. Essentially I ticked just about every top price item I could. I could not build a pc now if I wanted to. Thanks again mate. :hat: :^: You're welcome :^: I did the...

Re: New pc spec, thoughts?

I suppose you live in UK so may be import fees are very expensive due to brexit. I paid about 3100€ for my configuration, but it's a DIY project. While doing my research on the subject, I found on a famous italian reseller a configuration like mine with warranty and other extras at about the same pr...

Re: New pc spec, thoughts?

I think your configuration is very capable and balanced. I would make it a DDR5 build, looking for future upgrades in the next years. DDR4 is the previous generation of chipset, RAM and CPUs. You could lower the specs on the video card and invest in DDR5. Video cards gets obsolete faster and last le...

Re: New pc spec, thoughts?

I just ordered the hardware for a similar built with some more horse power. For 3D rendering and modelling you need multi-core CPUs, fast RAM (bandwidth is important when loading geometries and textures) and a good GPU. Mine configuration is: i9-13900K (it doesn't need any presentation  ) 6...

Invalid IES files

I'm working with IES files and tried different ones without issues. On the Philips professional website there are hundreds of IES fiels available and well documented photometric informations. I'm not a field expert, but it's quite hard to find such a great amount of free resources. The issue is that...

Re: Denoiser Add-on on old Macs

Thanks Fletch, I tried the denoiser on some renders and the result is really impressive. I observed on the iMac that it's better to pause (or stop) the render while running the denoiser, otherwise it takes too much time. Doing so it runs in aboutabout 30 seconds on a 1280x720 resolution image. Just ...

Re: Denoiser Add-on on old Macs

So the best way for me to get the best result spending less time as possible rendering is to pause/stop the render after a certain period of time. This period of time should be based on the number of iterations completed, which depends on my level of satisfaction. Just a confirmation: after pausing ...
