Re: centre equestre
Frederik, I free that displacement is not a widely or often used feature but doing residential exteriors it is needed and wanted more often than not. For interiors I rarely use it unless it is for the typical shag rug. There is no denying that the first image would be greatly benefited by the use of...

Re: centre equestre
The one thing that kills me here is the lack of displacement for all that stone work. Don't get me wrong I LOVE twilight but on renders like this I have to look elsewhere.
All in all great work

Re: Livingroom scene
I have to agree with much of what Jerome said. It is a great image but it needs a few tweaks. The scale of a few models seems off (chair and table) the sofa texture seems really big The chair leather needs some shine to it the speakers are too black and lose depth I would add some mullions to the wi...

Re: Spring reading
I love the first view....fantastic. The last view lost some of the realism. It feels too "set up". The large block table on the left seems a bit out of place as well.

Re: irises and vases
I really like the material on the vases. The look of the clear glass over white looks great.

Re: Front Garden
Stu, These do look nice. My only crit would be that the plants are not so nice. It is obvious they are png's used as a "face me" component. The last image has plants growing from the sidewalk. png's just dont give enough depth to be used in the foreground. The first image has some obvious ...

Re: Daylit Corner
Nice work.
The window sills seem a bit thick and the exterior needs some color control but other than that it is a nice image.
Any chance you can share the chair model?

Re: Gem Chess
Nice work Eric. My only crits are:
The red and green colors look a bit over saturated.
That is going to be a tough book to read with the text going right into the binding
Overall great work. DOF is convincing (not the tyypical overly done and making objects look microscopic).

Re: living corner
This looks great other than one thing....those pillow need to be softened up and maybe subdivided. They are to sharp and you are getting a low poly shadow falling accross the first pillow on the left. Can you also make the curtains unique? if someone knows what to looks for they will see it is the s...

Re: Church Interior
Nice work Fletch. While the people help to fill the church, they also become the focal point. I like the image without the people better for showing the space to the client but if these images were to be published in advertisement then people would be a must.
