Ok, found some glass-Swarovski ior file on my comp downloaded from somewhere and made a material.
Didn't worked at the scene at all, just a very quick setup with a HDR. Rendered in KT for ease for 30 min.
How is the mat?

Nothing seems wrong with the diamond material. Just let it cook longer. The diamond material from gems pack uses a complex NK file (measured IOR data) and include dispersion. No, use them in Kerkythea's material lab. I've not looked at the tutorial Fletch pointed to, but I've made similar materials in KT long time ago.
