No. I have definitely made that mistake before but that is why I have the entity info box there. I have put the same material on both sides of the face just to be sure. Still - I am getting silver paving

Why is my paving so shiny?
This has happened before and I can't actually remember what I did to fix/change it. I want to put natural sandstone paving/tiling in my model. I have used a pretty good texture that has worked pretty well in the past. I use a natural stone setting and well, it does this. does this happen.jpg why.JPG...

I usually use Easy 08. Those are the settings I use and they work (the ones you suggested), but it ends up too shiny and flat. Oiled timber has a sheen to it but also has a depth (or something) due to the variation in colour and non flatness whereas paint tends to be more uniform. Maybe it's just th...

This is one of my favourite images ever on TR.com Yeah, I really like vinyl 'tis true (read mild obsession) but also I like the detail on this. Hope to spend some more time modeling/rendering images for my own benefit this summer... Nice one
