Your exactly right, there is an entire wall of windows behind the camera. Will try adding them and see what it looks like. Thanks!

I couldn't figure out why I had black walls so I just drew them again. I've added a light emitter in the back hall, above the bed and behind the camera. Still some funny shadows and now my couch looks plastic lol. I've rounded some of the furniture edges as suggested but when I try to round the edge...

Sorry, maybe I didn't use the right lingo. I did use the roundcorner plug in but I didn't bevel, I rounded them. So I should have bevelled them instead? (Thanks for your help!)

Thank you so much for your feedback! I think I'm in way over my head. I've been working on this today and have softened the edges of the walls, changed some of the lighting as suggested but now I have a few walls that are coming out black and no matter what lights I add, they remain black. I've doub...

Small suite (my first rendering)
Hi All, this is my first post and my first rendering. I have been reading through this forum like crazy trying to learn as much as I can. Most of it is way over my head but trying to figure things out as I go. Still working on the lighting, any critique is appreciated. Thanks!
