Re: Procedural textures : free opensource software

Can I somehow have Twilight see the materials in the Sketchup plugins folder as well as the Kerkythea material folder? Or do I have to copy from Kthea?

thanks!

Re: Transparency shows up in render

Fletch, the problem is that this is the surface underneath. I tried importing the disk model and not making it a component in the component menu. I can see it now in the unrendered state, and it looks like it's right on the surface but when I explode it, it gets all messed up again like the above pi...

Re: Transparency shows up in render

Fletch, I exploded the image and what I get is attached. I also attached what it looks like in SU. Very weird but it highlights something else. While in SU the image never sits on top of the disk. I guess where it's at. It renders and I can see, it but it's almost like it's behind the material face ...

Re: Transparency shows up in render

Hi Fletch!
I tried the png. No dice. Buuuuut, I did use a higher quality render with the png (Interior rendering) and the transparent film didn't show up; so that might be the ticket.

Thanks!!!

Transparency shows up in render

I placed a tif file( with the white background converted to transparent) in my model. It's a sticker of sorts. Looks great but when I render, the clear aspect of the tif is showing up. It looks like a reaaaaaally thin layer of transparent plastic. It actually casts a shadow. I've imported it as an i...
