Is there a new manual or guide for this?
The 2.0 guide doesn't mention "lumen" or "emitter" so I figure there may be a better guide available. Couldn't find it, though!
thanks,
Andrew

Re: Lights way too bright?
Hi Chris-
I have it set to 1500.... not sure why you're seeing 135,000.
However, the rendering as it's showing up (while indeed too bright) is certainly nowhere near 135,000 lumens!
thanks,
Andrew

Lights way too bright?
Trying out simulating a single recessed fluorescent light, but the light output is WAY too bright...
Output should be about 1500-2000 lumens.
File attached.
Any help is appreciated!
thanks,
Andrew

Re: Light through frosted glass?
Ok, got it - wasn't working, but found I had to also do this in the Deep editor.
Thanks!
Andrew
Thanks!

Re: Light through frosted glass?
Hi Chris,
Please forgive my ignorance, but I'm not sure how to determine what's causing this - is there a way to determine which object(s) are using the texture in question?
I don't think it's the glass I've just created, but not sure.
thanks,
Andrew

Re: Light through frosted glass?
Ok - after restarting, I can get the library. However, when I render, I get a log window with errors: 16:07:50: Error loading Twilight Render Deep data for material : 3460::Material1 16:07:50: Error loading Twilight Render Deep data for material : 3460::Material1 16:07:50: Error loading Twilight Ren...

Re: Light through frosted glass?
Hi Chris-
As noted, I updated before trying again... still doesn't give that option.
It's set up at home so I'll have to look later this afternoon to ensure it's running correctly, but I downloaded & installed without any issues.
thanks,
Andrew

Re: Light through frosted glass?
Thanks Fletch-
Updated.
I'm not finding the dialog that has an "import library" dialog - only "import", and it defaults to whatever current directory I'm working from.
I'm on OSX - is the process different?
Thanks,
Andrew
