Materials Settings
In a recent rendering, I have a lamp that has multi-colored glass as the shade. However, when I render it, it comes out as a single color. I'm using the material setting of shade from the template material dialog box found under translucent. Any suggestions on how to get the multi-color glass to dis...

Re: highest quality rendering
Thank, Fletch! I contacted the billboard company and they said a minimum of 300 ppi. I used Photoshop and increased the image to 400 ppi and sent it to the graphics company. They said it would work! Thanks for your help!

highest quality rendering
I have a client that wants to turn a rendering of his project into a billboard size print, 4' x 6'. The one I created for him using the 09 setting wasn't usable - the quality was too low. Is there any way to create a higher quality rendering for him to use? Thanks!

Cliff house
School project. The idea is a house built near the edge of a cliff that looks over a river below. Here I'm taking advantage of the view overlooking the cliff.

Minimize button
Quick question, why isn't there a minimize button on the rendering window of the MAC version? Mine is greyed out and it always has been like that in every version. It would be great to have and make things a little bit more simpler if there are changes that are needed to make. Thanks! Screen Shot 20...

Re: Beam me up, Scotty!!
This is actually larger than what is posted here. The original is 2560 x 1212 and 1.8mb. I'm actually using it as my desktop because I think it really looks cool!

Beam me up, Scotty!!
Got this off of 3D Warehouse. Wanted to have a little fun with it. I added the material to the control panel but everything else was designed by Aryh Peixoto Filho, so kudos to him!!

Re: Beach Condo
Here's the latest. I've corrected for the verticals and sharpening but it was just a shot in the dark after watching a quick tutorial on youtube on how to do these adjustments. And the exposure for the background I will attempt on my next rendering. But, again, your comments/critiques are alway welc...

Beach Condo
One of my earlier projects that had been giving me problems when rendering - causing SketchUp to crash. Finally was able to pin-point the component that caused the crashing, re-built the model and this is the latest result. Comments, suggestions and criticisms welcomed! Thanks and have a Merry Chris...
