Re: Scatter Plugin. Problems.

Thanks Fletch. Be good if there were some guides out there. I don't know how a newbie like me is supposed to know this stuff.
Nothing about this on Sketchuducation, Skatter manual and until now Twilight. Very frustrating working in the dark, or twilight :D

Scatter Plugin. Problems.

Anybody having any success with scatter in Twilight? I am having no trouble with simple test scenes so I'm sure I have the various settings right. But when I try to render a largish scene, (about 107000 grass objects) Twilight seems to get stuck 'Initializing Meshes'. If I give up after 15 mins or s...

Trouble with ray tracing

Hi Guys, would you think that over 140 passes at o8 would get rid of the 'speckles' on the cushions and walls. (attached) I also pulled an image at 100 passes and there was no difference at all except for a slight change in 'speckle' pattern. Any help advice appreciated. (As usual this a rush job wi...

Re: Attempt at a 'serious' render

Wow, amazing progress :) looks more lightened. Watch for the HDRi to don't appear much brighter than the scene. The cabinet corner and the door low-end look to be very burned up. Thanks Kronox, Not using Hdri, just a sky portal, tried reducing the sun a bit, below, but I'm inclined to think the pre...

Re: Attempt at a 'serious' render

The client, God bless her, has made more changes, which is good cos it means I have to keep going. Heres the latest, used a sky portal on the door, got rid of all the bumpmaps, they were slowing the render down too much and didnt do much anyway at this size. Made sure the whites weren't white, hid o...
