It sure beats my old comp and was a good price at under £600
I thought it looked a bit bright as well but I rendered straight from opening up the file. I also thought the brass fitting below the glass shade was bright also.

Re: Spa room - 1600x1075, 89 passes for 11h 15m
:^: Thanks for the comments, I think I'm going to have a little look at the textures and see if some need to be reduced which is probably the case. I have all the geometry and lights for other areas on seperate layers which I turn off so I'm only rendering this one room. I'll keep trying and post a ...

Re: Spa room - 1600x1075, 89 passes for 11h 15m
Hi, thanks for your comments. I agree, my computer is too slow. Its a AMD duel core 3ghz with 4 g of Ram, it wont render this model over 1700 res but Im guessing this is down to the size of the model. I'm just contemplating upgrading to a new AMD 6 core but not sure which one to go for yet. I am usi...

Spa room - 1600x1075, 89 passes for 11h 15m
Hi this is my first post to twilight, been using it for a little while now but never rendered anything properly with it as of yet. This is a project I am working on in Russia for a Spa, the whole Sketchup model includes all the other facilities as well and is well over 100mb now. This is one of the ...

Template library
Hi,
When I use any of the lampshade library templates they render black, I want to use the lampshade-white-light, how do they work? I have a point light within the lampshade coloured white in sketchup then I added the library template but when I render its black.
Cheers for any help.
Paul.

Re: textures
Thanks Fletch, that did the trick!! I didn't subdivide it by drawing triangles, I drew a grid over the top of the face with the texture on and its rendered fine now.

textures
Does anyone know if this is a sketchup/graphics card or rendering problem. I have used a textured on the wall showing the windows etc and in Sketchup its fine but once I render it it goes skewed. Any thoughts?
