Material rendering black
I'm trying to setup a render in which some of the textures are a PDF. The textures show up correctly in SketchUp AND are on the white face (not the reverse blue face). But they keep rendering as black. Twilight material editor also shows them as black. Sure it's something basic, but can't work out w...

Re: Render slowing down
There's updates fairly regularly on Mac, every couple of months or so. I've been doing a lot of work purely in Layout and SketchUp, so I can't pinpoint when this issue started happening. Chris, I've just been running Folding@Home today on my MacBook. This uses all 4 threads and is holding completely...

Render slowing down
Hi, I'm using a Dual Core Hyper Threaded MacBook. SketchUp will usually show 400% while I am rendering, but for some reason, it now fluctuates between 100% and 400%; averaging about 300%. It seems that it fluctuates while I am using the computer for other things while it is rendering. It doesn't red...

Re: Section Fill
Just been playing around with Sketchup styles and have found a way to export the section fill, on a white background - which I can then isolate and place in Photoshop. Is there a way within the rendering program to do include the section fill though? It would a lot simpler (and would really help wit...

Section Fill
Hi,
I've just found the section render option in Twilight, but I was wondering if it's possible to render the "section fill" as well?
If not, is there an easy way to isolate and export just the section fill from Sketchup so as I can overlay it on top of the completed render?
Thanks

Re: Max RAM
How much is the most you've ever seen Twilight use?
I know they're all a bit crazy (I currently use 8gb on my MacBook to render), but most are prebuilt with one of those specifications.

Max RAM
Currently in the process of buying an older 12 core Mac Pro as a rendering workhorse. They seem to come up with 32gb RAM, 64GB, 96GB or 128GB. At what point does this become a useless for Twilight? Also as far as I'm aware, graphics cards make no impact on render times? And I guess an SSD shouldn't ...

Trying to install V2 Hobby...
Still been using V1, but decided to give V2 Hobby and go and will be buying Pro in a few weeks time. I downloaded the file from your website .rbx I think. Went to Sketchup 2017 > Extension Manager > Install Extension. Everything all went perfectly. Says it's installed and the slider says it's enable...
