Thanks Fletch , very interesting info in those links. Will try it and see. I did successfully manage to do the cove light in Brighter3D it was not hard at all. Probably the Twilight tutorial I was following made things look complicated.

Thanks for your help - so assuming I get the Pro version. Is adding Emitter light with IES the way to create strip lights.

Here's me thinking I will render my room as a trial, now I cant have my cove lights.....

Ok, I was not aware the trail download is not the full features version. Better see what else Im missing.....

Emitter light for Strip lights

Hi, I'm following a tutorial - twilight for sketchup and its version 1.5. I recently installed the trial 2.0. In 1.5 they select an emitter light and in twilight material panel they can add an IES, but its not there in 2.0. I imagined that's what I will need to make strip lights in ceilings etc. So ...
