Thanks for all the tips and feedback.

I had a sign that was set as an emitter. As soon as I made it a 'fake emitter' the rendering took a tiny fraction of the time! Huge help. I also reduced some geometry by hiding, but I think the emitter did the trick.

I wanted to reach out and see how everyone out there integrates people into their scenes. Normally I go the Photoshop post-production photomontage route for my renderings. Thought I would jump into this thread instead of starting one of my own. I have a night scene that I am trying to render (interior lights shining through glass and translucent surfaces) at dusk (very late sun settings). It is taking FOREVER. I do have it set up for a large image 2000x1500 and #4-7. ...
