I also came across Laubwerk a couple of months ago and asked the same question on here, it would be great for this to be supported in coming updates! I also asked Laubwerk as well but they hadn't any further info.

I also use Skatter and find it very useful on certain designs.

Unfortunately it just renders as the sketchup preview!

Is there any other settings to try?

I've attached one of our renders using twilight, very happy with the software/outcome but we would like to expand our tree/plant library.

I've seen Laubwerk plants used with Thea and they give great results.
