Re: Recommended Render Engines for SketchUp

As a long time user of Twilight and previously, Kerkythea, I'm looking for a new render software...
Anyone here using Thea Render?

I'm also looking to update to a Mac but would like to find out which render plugin works natively on Apple Silicon.

Re: Twilight Render Sunset

Very sad to hear... But since there was no more news on a new release for Apple Silicon, I was suspecting/fearing this... I have used Kerkythea in 2008, and moved to Twilight a little over 10 years ago. I have visualised hundreds of projects for clients, from architects, project developers, ... From...

Re: Twilight Render and macOS M1 processors

OK - sad to hear there are difficulties with development.
I was wondering if there are plans to make this a paying update, since this is a lot of work?
I wouldn’t mind having to pay for this.

Hi Fletch, any updates regarding the development of the new engine?

Re: Twilight Render and macOS M1 processors

I tested Twilight Render Pro with SU 2022 on a Mac Studio but after a couple of days I sent the Mac Studio back. It was not much faster then my 2017 5K iMac with i7 7700k processor... Due to Rosetta 2. I do think Apple sillicon is a great platform. Other apps I use that have been ported to Apple sil...

Can I ask you how you render those curtains? The transparancy is beautiful...
Oh this is the good old twilight curtain. I am using and modifying it very often:
Where can I find these? :)
Edit - found them!
