What I intend doing now is to purchase the fully licenced version, download
any templates and materials, and spend some time working my way through
the available tutorials etc.
Next time I post I should have a proper grip on the subject.

Thanks for the feedback. I think Fletch's warm light colour makes a huge difference to the image-I shall certainly be using that again in the future. The whole thing seems brighter and lighter. Being fairly new to TW2, I trawled the forums and decided to try a night scene render for the first time. The results look OK to me, but I don't really know what I am looking for. Any tips or comments wouls be appreciated.
