Re: Twilight only for Sketchup pro and old make now?

Just now saw this thread, and yeah, I was feeling very meh about them discontinuing the Make version. Now they even changed the launch screen to "Make isn't getting any younger, consider switching to these alternatives" and those being free and pro. Since the free version is basically a stripped-dow...

Re: Student apartment, shower test.

Oh it's a cutout, I guess that whould have been obvious to me  Thing is, I've seen some actual designs that don't use a door and where the bathroom is just open to the rest of the place so I just had to ask :D

:hat:
Yep, just like everyone else already said, interior looks really good but the outside need to be tuned down a bit. Props for adding a lot of detail and items on the tables/shelves, makes it look like someone is actually working there.

Re: Student apartment, shower test.

Looks good :^:
But why is there no door/separation between the bathroom and the rest of the apartment? Wouldn't moisture and uh.. privacy be an issue there /:

Re: Notre Dame

That turned out really nice! :^: :gj: Surprised to see how low-poly the cathedral model is, and yet it looks really good in the final render. I guess it's true as they say: good materials can hide bad modelling, but no ammount of modelling would make up for bad materials :) Just a question tho: the ...

Re: Modern Kitchen

Pretty good :^:

Besides the things Fletch said, the back window looks really strange. Like as if there is no light coming through it, and I would expect to see at least a faint reflection of it on the cabinets and such but there is none. Just looks really odd to me :!

Re: Studio for car renders.

Well.. I think you should try increasing the exposure instead of the light strength. By just increasing the white lights they "overpower" the other fill lights (blue and orange) and your scene looks somewhat monochromatic and bland :! I also found it looking better if you replace the emitter in the ...
