There appears to be a problem with the new tonemapping pipeline. We will make a new release and get it out today. In the meantime, here is a workaround. Weird for sure. What lights do you have in the scene? Also, set the Post-Pro to None just to rule out any issues there.

Please post a screenshot of your extension manager window in SketchUp.
Also, did you install using the Windows .exe installer, or did you use the .rbz installer which is only intended for macOS users?

That is what it is supposed to show. The Light, Environment, and Material editors all show "demonstration" scenes to give you a preview of what your settings will look like. In order to see what your scene looks like, you will need to open the Render Editor. You can find all our basic tutorials here...

Twilight Render V2 no longer updates settings from the legacy V1. Is that what you are referring to?
Otherwise, there is no reason a previous install of V2 (like from SketchUp 2020) would not retain its settings.
