Re: problem with the lights

Posting the rendered images isn't helpful in this case. You need to post the actual SketchUp scene in order for us to examine it and see if there is a problem.

The order in which lights are added to the scene has no impact on how they are rendered.

Re: I see the sky when I render

hi, I found a solution to this problem, I also had this problem the rendering system put the lights on the image, so you have to put the lights before to make your model and it will work When lights are added to a scene has no impact at all on the render. You can add them at any time. I'm sure this...

Re: lighting rendering just gives me a blue and white screen!

I just had the same problem but I found the solution, the lights have to be added before the walls, floor...etc, it just organisation but it works That is not correct. Lights can be added at any time during the modeling. In fact, there is absolutely no way to know the difference between a light tha...

Re: how to render dimension lines

There is no way to render dimension lines. However, Twilight Render Pro has the ability to "overlay" the SketchUp view onto the render which can be used very effectively to capture line work like dimension lines. https://www.twilightrender.com/index.php/67-tutorials-v2/213-twilight-render-tutorials-...

Re: Render slowing down

Twilight Render runs the render engine at a Low priority. In theory this means that the OS will schedule other things ahead of the render (if you are browsing or typing a paper or whatever). The render takes the lowest priority. How the OS does that is... however they want to do it. And probably sub...

Re: FFmpeg produces 0 file size

:D

I always thought the restriction was only on the width. Interesting to see that it is also on the height.

Re: Twilight Render for 64-Bit Systems

Yes, absolutely. SketchUp went to 100% 64 bit with SU 2017. Twilight Render is fully compatible with 64 bit versions of SketchUp. Just make sure you download the 64 bit version of Twilight Render.

Re: FFmpeg produces 0 file size

Good catch! I didn't know that the H264 format required a height divisible by 2 (but I'm not surprised). Thanks for narrowing that down. We will update our tutorials and documentation to reflect those requirements. Let us know if it ends up working.

Re: FFmpeg produces 0 file size

In my previous post I indicated you should have "Fit to SketchUp" unchecked . If you left it checked, your final render size may not be what you think it is. You can check the actual resulting image (right click on the image -> Properties -> Details) and see. If it's not a power of 4, I don't think ...
