Please be aware that Twilight Render is in "end-of-life". We are no longer updating the software and the forum and website will close on Dec 31, 2024. We advise that you transition to other software packages as best you can.

With SU2024, they changed the required Ruby version from 2.7 (which it has been at for the last 5 years or so) to 3.2. Yes, Rosetta is still required for macOS on the M-series chips.

In order to use Twilight Render on an M1/M2/M3 processor you have to use Rosetta.

Lights are separate objects and so that should definitely not be happening. However if you have a Component Definition with a light in it, all Component Instances of that definition will use that same light. It works the same as any other SketchUp component.
