Re: Denoise rendering

There is not. All Twilight Render AddOns (Denoising, Terrain, and Render-to-Texture) require a Twilight Render Pro license.

The Denoiser does not support Radeon GPUs (it is based on the NVidia Optix software). It does, however, support a CPU mode that can run on any CPU.

Re: Make architectural glass more transparent?

One additional suggestion. If you want to reduce the amount of reflection from the Architectural Glass, reduce the IOR value. I think by default it is 1.52, so try 1.2, 1.1. Just don't go below 1.0. At 1.0 I would expect it to completely disappear, no reflection.

Re: Denoise rendering

Check to see if there is an error message in the log. You can find it by going to Extensions -> Twilight Render V2 -> Options, then clicking on the About tab and the the Log button.

Re: Volumetric render (Light)

If you are looking for a scattering effect, you might be able to accomplish that using the Bloom post-processing effect.

Re: Normal Map in Deep Material Editor

While I haven't tried it, you could probably accomplish something pretty similar with the Deep Material Editor. It's capable of a lot and masked layers are its strength. You would just have to have a good understanding of what each texture image is supposed to represent (is it a mask, is it a diffus...

Re: No applied lighting showing in render

Make sure you don't have reversed faces (I think you said you checked?). Then check the TWR material template applied. What template is it using?

Re: glass magnifying

Is your glass material using the Architectural Glass template? If not, you should switch it to that. It doesn't have any refraction in it and will prevent distortion from glass thickness.

Re: solar and moonlight shadow

Can you post an example scene of what you have tried? Probably be easier to figure out if we saw what you were doing.

Re: Update blocked

As Fletch said, Twilight Renders installers are clean. Sometimes anti-virus software generates what are called "false positives". Those usually resolve themselves eventually. Other times, Windows decides it doesn't want to install anything that isn't "signed" by them (which is almost certainly the c...
