There's really only one way to find out - in my experience (mostly on windows o.s.) changing thread priority has been safe to do.
If you close out of all other apps you can first, then change thread priority you minimize chances of issues.

The radius of the lights is much too big, your radius of your light must be accurate to the radius of the light source "bulb" in real life. The light source must not intersect adjacent 3D geometry. This is a real world dimension. So a normal old classic incandescent light bulb would be radius of hal...

In perfect elevation rendering the reflections will not work/look right. The only option is photoshop.
The other option is to use a very long zoom to mimic an elevation view. In that case, put a treeline behind the camera, or use treeline in spherical sky.

Are you saving your image from Twilight Render in .jpg or .png format?
My guess is you have Irfanview settings tweaked wrong.
