Re: Exterior Practice

Facade in this case was referring to the stucco material texture, not the style.

Getting good texture materials is a major part of realistic rendering. It is an eternal search.

Re: Exterior Practice

:^: Very nice image. Good work!

The 3 materials I like least are the roof, the fascia, and the facade. More attention on the textures/materials of those major surfaces and it will be very high quality indeed.

Re: Porsche 550 for the modern user.

I would lower the power of the sun, if it is default 5, set it to 4 or maybe 3. And/or I would lower the brightness of the white color of the car. Diffuse Color for objects in rendering

All base colors for materials in your model should match the diffuse color of the object. That is, the color of the object when viewed under a flat grey sky . So that when sunlight hits it, there's a way for it to lighten up. And if a shadow falls on it, it has a way to go darker (most noticeable i...

Re: Courtyard - Townsquare

 vastly improved.
I can almost hear those chickens - and the dog walking across the road. The lighting and textures looks great. Trees are much better.

I wish only for better tree trunk - especially here.
