Re: Infinite Plane
Yes, you can convert the high poly trees and bushes and grass to proxies with Twilight V2, you can use other free scattering plugins for SketchUp to scatter those proxies around, then render with Easy 08 or Easy 09. (only unbiased works well with lots of proxies/hi poly models) Subject: Proxy Object...

Re: Render Size and DPI query
open Render dialog - and uncheck "fit to view proportions" then set the size of the image in px. According to photoshop this will be a rendering of 10630x10630 which is an extremely large rendering and may take a long time to render. You have been warned. I hope you have a lot of RAM. I wo...

Re: Infinite Plane
A lawn that were infinite would have way too many polys. Use Skatter plugin close to the camera. I think what may be useful for you is to use Template Sky Projection on your ground plane in order to project the spherical sky onto the ground in such a way as to act like a "shadow catcher". ...

Re: Incomprehensible errors when rendering
that is strange, but here's my guess - In order to create a rendering of your model, Twilight uses a render engine under the hood called "Kerkythea". (KT for short) KT requires a mesh of triangles. So it triangulates irregular polygons. Your model is showing a curve (many short segments th...

Re: camp
ntxdave, It looks as if Fletch used a spherical tree line image he shared sometime back ( posting a link to it). It also appears that he used Skatter to populate the areas around the building with grass. I’m sure I’ll be corrected if I’m mistaken. https://www.twilightrender.com/phpBB3/viewtop...

Re: How to prevent color casting?
reduce the saturation on the green color to 70%, it's not "obeying" physical laws. Remember you can render a technical setting called "Diffuse Texture Pass" and it will render just flat colors. You render that at 2x the size of your final rendering, in this pass your green will b...
