before hitting "render" I set my view in SU to "Monochrome"
then I use "overlay" style of overlay when I render - I render with denoise enabled, adjust exposure to taste, and it's client ready in less than 60 seconds.

Flat with small kitchen

I love the overlay feature of rendering with Twilight combined with the monochrome view in SU, just makes for nice images and extremely fast rendering.

Try to learn Blender. It handles high polygon models 100x the size of what Sketchup can handle, it does animation and real-time rendering... and is free.
