How to correct stragen border lines on irregular surfaces
Hello Guys, I'm facing a problem when rendering some forniture that I dunno if I'm doing something wrong or is a problem of the model I got. Look that rendering and see the border of the suvet like a hand drawing. InkedForum_LI.jpg Before rendering it already presents some shadows in the material th...

Re: Living room and Dining room
Sounds like you are making the error I made when I started rendering - to think that rendering with the highest setting is the best - this is not the case. The best setting for a particular scene is the best. Easy 09 is 2x faster to clear than Easy10 - especially on scenes with a lot of direct ligh...

Re: Living room and Dining room
The AA step is not multi-threaded. Have you tried Easy09 without DOF? It would be much better for your scene, and when you factor the AA render time, then I would maybe be faster as well. I do my DOF in post with the depth render pass - it only takes a minute and gives more precise control. Thanks ...

Re: Living room and Dining room
Increase Tracing Depth for your render setting. Tracing depth for Easy 04 is something like 5 or 6, you may need 8 or 9. Thanks, Fletch! Worked With Tracing Depth 10. One more question, Is it normal the antialiasing step of the scene take more than doble of the time spent in all previous steps toge...

Re: My own future house
In time, please clarify uma doubt i have: Applying material in both faces, instead of applying only in front face increses render time? Not increase render times, but it will confuse you, because only front faces will render materials properly. Back face materials will result in error and confusion...

Re: My own future house
Fastest way is to simply photoshop the grass in. I typically do this with my exteriors just as a time saver. Take a nice photo or two of different nice green lawns you see around you and use them. You will build up a library of content like this over time. The more accurate your model and textures ...

Re: My own future house
It is a pretty nicely done interior. :^: The better your models, the better your renderings. If you have not yet seen them, follow the video tutorials in my signature "6 Essentials to Render in SketchUp with Twilght Render" The exterior needs a lot of work. ;) Thanks Fletch. The most hard...

I was trying make this kind of windows above, but I think I need Thicker the frames to make more realistic and put brigthness and reflex. Once again, Thanks for the tip...
