Re: House NPR

Boo, Looks good but what about running it through one of Fotosketcher's pencil settings? I did a quick couple passes and overlayed it above the original at 50% in Toeshop. Brushed in some clouds. Might be overkill though. 008_Gray-test.jpg I tried to upload the psd but wouldn't let me. I can email i...

I started with Boot Camp and then installed Parallels and it took over my boot camp partition. If I need to I can still boot into windows...

Re: Courtyard

Oh, I should mention that I added contrast to the displacement map. So, if you use the original files from MXM then it won't work as well.

Re: Courtyard

I downloaded a texture with a displacement map already. I used maxwell for a couple years, basically paying to beta their software. So, I use MXM gallery site alot. It's usually the first place I look for textures for things smaller in scale. http://resources.maxwellrender.com Search for Red Wool by...

Re: Courtyard

Here is a shot of the material editor. I always browse to attach it to the real texture. I don't know if this helps but sometimes sketchup textures look too pixelated. Notice the two highlighted filenames, they will be in the next post. I used a Bump value of 100 it was the first one I tried and it ...

Re: Courtyard

Ok, here is a closeup rendering of the pillow texture using exterior daytime progressive render setting for about 1.5 minutes. You can see the texture and model will need work if you want to use for closeups but should be effective for room shots. I will say that I'll tell you how I did it but every...

Re: Courtyard

I can post the pillow and texture here. I think I just picked a generic-->flat template for the texture and added a bump value to it. I'm assuming you know how to add texture to a shape like this?

Let me look up the model and I'll post it here.
