Re: Light mixing

Thanks Chris ! So I've digged out some information again. The idea was to change all my lights to ies for speed up performance, so i found some naked bulb file. I haven't checked it twice at first but now i see that the IES i've used is for TLS E27 3.5W Clear Led Bulb so multiplying it wasn't bad id...

Fixtures are with IES, LED is emitter, standard sun and physical sky. Screenshot_2.jpg Next i've changed light colours and IES power multiplier up to 10. Screen...

Re: based on real project

i found the reference picture :^: As always finding best texture is most difficult. I think a stone facade should have a little less contrast (stone to fugue/joint) but still it looks great. Perspective is exactly like on a real photo :rspkt: Where have you found this trees models ? It looks great !

Re: How to speed up render time

Thanks Fletch ! Ok, understood, just trying to figure out how to manage model best. Since i've started to use SKP as my primary CAD software and utilizing Layout to prepare technical drawings, all my idea of organizing groups, components and views changed. Needless to say it's quite a big thing to s...

Re: How to speed up render time

This would more appropriately be handled by hiding geometry using your SketchUp scenes. And yes, hiding geometry can make a very big difference in render times. Say you have an entire house and you are only rendering the bedroom, hiding the rest of the house can make a huge difference. ...so i had ...

Re: How to speed up render time

I wonder whether if I select elements of the model shown in a scene and then I set to render only the currently selected this will speed up rendering time? Or this option works only like hiding other elements so still all geometry is processed ? If "render the current selection only" really speeds u...
