Re: Light from outside room

OK - getting closer but still having a little bit of a problem. Room v4.jpg Look at the shape of the light on the back wall. It should be the shape of the window. How do I soften the edges of the light on the back wall If I try to move the spot light so that it not coming through the wall, then I do...

Re: Light from outside room

Well, I was off trying before I saw the posts from you guys. So here is what I came up with before I saw your posts. Room v3.jpg Actually I did make the background an Emitter so I could make it look brighter through the windows. I did change the class to Architectural Glass - Common which made it be...

Re: Light from outside room

Wish I would have seen your reply before creating some new renders but I will share one anyway since this is a learning experience. Here is what I just finished generating. Room v2.jpg Chris, I will give your approach a try tomorrow (I hope). I really appreciate this as I want to learn to do things ...

Light from outside room

I am trying to learn how to use Twilight Hobby better. I am trying to understand how to achieve lighting from outside. In this render, I want light to shine through the window into the room and for the background image to be brighter (more like the way it looks in SketchUp). RoomRender v1.PNG I have...

Re: Pole Lamp Test

Thanks Dave. I'll tell you I want to see some tests from you. Heck this scene is just a box some props and 3 Twilight "light bulbs" and hit the go button. Get some props off the SU warehouse and have a go. A few hours here and there while the t.v.'s running in the background and before you know it ...

Re: Pole Lamp Test

I like it. Yes, there can always be tweaks but it is better than mine. Oh, yes, I didn't do one.

Re: Fredo6's Animator integration ?

    In a thread on SketchUcation earlier today, I answered a post by boofredlay who is now going to be a beta tester for Animator. I assume he will come up with some pretty impressive stuff since he is a Twilight Render sage. This is great news from my perspective. I look for...

Re: Fredo6's Animator integration ?

Here is a render in the Hobby version of Twilight Render. It is just a test and the animation itself is a very low quality. I used the Preview Object Animation setting. It took about 2 hours to produce (151 frames). The movie itself was then made using the free Microsoft Movie Maker with each frame ...
