OK - making some progress in learning Krita. Still have some things to play with and learn how to do better but based on the video I referenced before, here is my first image (yes still some things left to be done).

OK - I finally found the source of the problem. I had to set the fill tool so that it would pay attention to all of the layers.

Majid, where I am encountering the problem is between 4:30 and 5:00 minutes. After I create the new layer for using the fill tool, it is filling the entire screen instead of using the outline for the mushroom as the clipping agent. I do not know what I am doing wrong. Majid, this stuff is incredible. The sketches and results blow my mind. I wish I could think like you. The images make a lot of sense when you look at them.
