Re: Lens Focal Length vs S.U.8 (pro)
I get the same results when setting the FL to 50 mm, I can see 34.722 mm under the TL camera. However if you do what Fletch or Chris suggested; lock the aspect ratio and use the magnifying glass to scale your rendered image the exact same as your SU model workspace, you get exactly what you see in t...

:! The easiest approach would be to ask him directly in the thread at SCF... Well, Víctor, one of the developers started to post over SCF so hopefully we'll be wiser soon. http://forums.sketchucation.com/viewtopic.php?p=316816#p316816 Chris, Fletch, if you could integrate it into Twilight, that wou...

Re: Skychup
If this worked real-time in SU (and could be translated to rendering engines as well), it could be a real hit.

Also make sure that the aspect ratio for your image is 2:1 for a full 360 degree panorama. As for putting it on a website, I use this software (not free but not too expensive). It gives you all sorts of interactivity (don't forget to look at the clock on the wall or click on the pictures on the desk...

Re: Window reflection and gold spots in renders- Some questions.
It does not matter which side of a face is the thin glass showing towards you as long as there is no other material applied to the front face (or to a group/component) other than that glass material. Always texture the front faces and you should be set.

Re: Any Twilight engine update? (following the KT engine?)
Ah, I have finally found this topic (so no need to add a duplicate).
And yes, using Kerky as a studio can solve the issue. It has other advantages, too (like extreme high poly support if you want to instance a whole forest for instance).

Re: Animation Artifacts
I had a similar problem a while ago but I was too much in a hurry with the video below and could not ask for help instead I just edited the frames where it was present except maybe 2 or 3. x1xgvwvydsc The squares only appear in the top left corner but watch carefully as there are now only very few. ...

Re: 130 Free XFrog Trees
When importing any stuff in too small size, SU will run into its own limitations with too small faces when it cannot create them if their edges are about 1 mm (~ 1/16"). If an obj import is messy, you can batch flip the vertices if you right lick on a correct vertex and choose "orient face...
