Re: Revit Users - handy scripts
Thanks for the heads up. I've imported a few simple SketchUP models into Revit to help with massing objects (I'm still struggling with importing 2D AutoCAD info on a vertical workplane for tracing sections), but have never seriously exported anything out to DWG, other than to check it can be done. T...

Re: Render Settings - the Best One
Thanks, I'll have to print this one off to let it sink in, but it looks very informative on first scan.

Re: Bye-Bye Blue Sky
Thanks for these tips, they help make a more professional image. I never thought of Picasa, but it works well for a free package. My "proper" image editor is Corel Photo-Paint. I'll need to figure out how to adjust the colour balance properly, as it tends to be a bit hit 'n miss at the mom...

Re: Clay Render Colour
Chris,
Thanks for the reply.
Could this be an item to think about controlling from within SketchUP (by using the default face colour, for instance), or TWIL in a future release?

Re: Roof Shot
Fantastic work, can you please post a couple of screenshots to give us an idea of how these fantastic images can be produced from SKUP/TWIL & the post process work. Are you sure these aren't photos of the completed works at the end of defects period??! :D Edit: - thanks very much for the extra i...

Re: Animation Cells changing size during rendering
Chris,
Thanks for the reply. The animation was just a test, (trying to convince my wife of the idea that erecting a car port over the drive won't cut down the daylight too much) so no damage done.
Additional notes on animation rendering can be another item for the updated manual v1.1.1!

Animation Cells changing size during rendering
I've hit a wee snag. I've been rendering in the background over the day, the PC has been a bit sluggish & the TWIL pane refuses to close - but that's not a real problem. However, I've found that somewhere along the line that the render output size has slightly changed size from 508 px to 476 px ...
