(works for any product, but the chrome requires strong reflectors in the right position) Using 4 rectangular emitter planes to create a studio for this light fixture, place them in a box-like pat...

Re: Late evening dip.

Sorry mate but wrong on both of those. no offense intended, hope you will accept my apologies. In the case of the lighting, then I may suggest turning on the sun, set power to 1 to get started, and change the color to a moon blue color... set sun angle in SU to get more interesting shadows.

I realize that it's strange, but it's not impossible, and yes, it's rare to see this situation. You are ...

Re: Late evening dip.

I am thinking of different lights More realistic modeling is the most critical need in this image, the benches and the architecture are woefully low poly, so therefore when rendered, they of course look unrealistic. The first step in high quality rendering is a high quality model. There must be a g...

Change "Color" from "SketchUp" to "Texture" and browse to your .gif. Untitled-2.png Insert a copy of your animated .gif image that has been saved as a .jpg or .png format as a texture in your SU scene, you will likely need to apply a Twilight Template to the texture. Change the Color slot in the mat...

Re: Studio Setup for Furniture

Try a large rectangular emitter plane above the stage.
make sure the plane is "facing" down into the stage area

try setting emit material to 500w/m2
