Re: Animation - visible layers

We will look into this. Twilight Render doesn't maintain its own visibility (or anything for that matter) for an object, it just uses what SketchUp says. So there shouldn't be a difference. We will look into what might be going on, but if you can provide a file that reproduces what you are experienc...

Re: Issue with Post process dialogue box not fully expanding?

Kadesigns, are you using a high-definition screen? This may be an issue of a fixed size window that should be taking into account the HD screen but isn't.

Re: Skatter Help/Advice

For the Exploration Renderer, what rendering method have you chosen? Most of the Exploration Renderer methods are the biased renderers (similar to Low/High). For something with tons of polygons (like what you would encounter with Skatter and grass), you will get better behavior with the unbiased ren...

Re: Version 2.17 Windows 8.1 with Sketchup 2017

Windows 8 is pretty old but it should still be compatible with Twilight Render. Do you have a license for the Fast Forward Denoiser? That can sometimes cause crashes when there are compatibility issues. Otherwise no we generally don't hold on to previous installers (Incompatibilities from one versio...

If you are using a mac with an M1 or M2 processor, you will have to run SketchUp with Rosetta.

Re: Material libraries does not appear

You are right that the Deep Material editor is complicated! It is geared more toward "maximum flexibility", but does sacrifice a lot of user friendliness. Unfortunately, the material system of the underlying renderer (the Kerkythea system) isn't very ... intuitive. So striking a balance be...

Re: Material libraries does not appear

The most likely issue is that you don't have a material loaded in the Deep Material editor yet. You can't "import" a material unless you have a target for where that imported material will go. So, you need to select a SketchUp material first and then you should be able to "import"...

Re: Problem with rendering, need help please

I'm glad our suggestions are helping! :D I'm pretty sure (not 100%, but pretty sure) that the issue with the lines in the wood is because the wood material has a Bump Map applied to it. If you use the Twilight Render Material Editor, and you select the wood material, do you see a texture image appli...
