There can be a difference between SU and Twilight when it comes to shadows, yes, that is true. But a huge difference? That shouldn't be. Can you post pictures?

For me, I have a window behind me to my right, so the sun lights up everything behind me. Even with a white forum background, it's a huge strain to see passed the reflection. I've had serious eye strain for a week.

Who could possibly have ever imagined that a reflective computer screen was a good idea ?! What idiot thought, "That will improve the customer experience"?!

Unfortunately that's one of the basic limitations of spherical skies. It's not a render-specific issue; more a photography issue. You are limited to the exact location of the camera when the picture was taken. You can't move the "perspective" that has been captured by the spherical image. ...

Hi tmors, I'm not 100% sure off the top of my head. SketchUp doesn't interpolate target, so much as direction. When SketchUp is in the process of an interpolation the "target", as SketchUp will tell you, is a very short distance away, maybe like 1 foot away. But you would have a hard time ...

Regarding Z-fighting, yeah the best way to avoid it is just to move the objects apart by as tiny an amount as you can.

Try setting F-number to 1. You might also try to increase the focal length to 150 - 200 mm (which will change your view!)
