Re: Twilight Render Manual Feedback (V1.2 and 1.6)
Many, many thanks for all the work to update the manual. Since the News forum does not allow Replies, here are some nits that I encountered (V1.2 and 1.6): Page 31 of 54: no explanation of “welded Vertices”. Page 33 of 54: no explanation of what “scratch maps” are: just that you should add them. Pag...

Re: Another Learning WIP from work
This view of the south wall is pretty close to being done (lighting needs to be adjusted on the right corner): many miles to go for the rest of the facility.

Re: Learning WIP
Tweaked the pavers to be textured with actual color scheme.
Dropped the exposure a click: may be a tad too dark.
Re-did the back yard (but, of course, that doesn't show in this view )
I guess I'm pretty much done!!

Re: Learning WIP
It's so easy/obvious when you know how (and now I do)!! Thanks once again, Ecuadorian. I have no idea how I messed things up so completely, but all is now well.

Re: Learning WIP
I guess you downloaded the raw PNG images The download from RapidShare (from the locations you indicated) included .png and bump maps: I opened the .png file. I'm at work now, but I'll put all the files (.png and bump maps) in a new local collection. When I add them as a component in SU does the bu...

Re: Learning WIP
Have you tried these FaceMe plants? http://www.forums.sketchucation.com/viewtopic.php?f=40&t=21216 Many thanks for steering me to this. I downloaded all of them and the "Plant Collection Total" (the group of .skp files) work great. I'm having some problem with the other two (SCF_Plant...
