Re: Denoiser & Animation

There is an option to limit the amount of memory used for the Denoiser. By default it is set to "No Limit" but leaves you open to the possibility of running out of memory. Setting the limit will ensure you don't run out; the trade off is the denoising process may take a little longer (but ...

Re: render resources

We will take a look and make sure everything is running correctly. There is always a possibility that the server that you are connecting to (our webhosting provider is on distributed server network so different areas have different servers) is having issues or doing maintenance. In which case your b...

Re: Invalid IES files

We will take a look. Thanks for the info!

Re: Error message

Are you using the same version of SketchUp? Prior to SketchUp 2022, SketchUp automatically ran in "compatibility / legacy" mode. Starting with SU 2022, they release an "M1 native" version. Since Twilight Render doesn't run natively on M1, that is why it won't work unless SketchUp...

Re: Denoiser Add-on on old Macs

The denoiser will work, but it will only work in CPU mode. (You can read about that here: https://www.twilightrender.com/index.php/twilight-articles/233-fastforward-denoising). The CPU mode will work on any computer on which Twilight Render is compatible. But the realtime GPU mode is only available ...

Re: Error message

If you are using macOS with an M1 processor, you will need to run SketchUp 2022 using Rosetta.

Re: Sketchup crashes following Twilight Plugin Install

Driver versions should be something in the 300 - 500 range. For instance, the latest released NVidia driver version is 526.98. The FastForward Denoiser requires a minimum NVidia version of 435.8 (you can find more complete info on our tutorial page: https://www.twilightrender.com/index.php/twilight-...

Re: Sketchup crashes following Twilight Plugin Install

Are you using the Fast Forward Denoiser? If so, what kind of GPU hardware do you have? What is the version of your nVidia driver? If the denoiser is the problem, you can disable it by going to "C:\Program Files\Twilight Render 2" and deleting the TwilightDenoise.dll. This will prevent the ...
