Thanks Fletch. ThomThom is a smart man. Anyway, Any tips for using this Fletch? I've watched a few tutorials and though I think I understand it all, It doesn't seem to like my model, or perhaps my settings. I imagine you used this extensively for the Field Museum project?

Hey guys, I am working on my final for school. I built the geometry in a program called Rhino, and now want to render with Twilight, but it is proving tough to get the geometry into Sketchup without a million polys. Are you still trying to decide between a desktop and a laptop? If so, you will likely get a ton more bang for your buck on a desk top. Not to mention

Aha I see now. The effect was blocking that bulb from my view so I thought the super nova effect was floating in space. Also, I didn't realize how reflective the book shelves were for whatever reason so my mind didn't think reflection. It is all so clear now! Really very good images!

I like the images! I think they are very well done. Only one small critique- The inside of the light fixture around each lightbulb does not appear to be brightly lit, this is detracting from believability. I disagree with the comment above, you are simply seeing the specular reflection of the bulbs...

It looks like there is a disco ball above the main lamp and that it is throwing caustics on the shelf (polka-dots of light).
