Re: Old Temple (Skatter/volumetric experiment)

Nice :gj: I'm surprised it didn't take longer than that to render, I'm used to volumetrics taking forever :D And yeah I'd be interested in hearing how to approach volumetrics in the "interior progressive" methods. The only one I know for now is the "Path tracing progressive" whic...

Re: Combat Knife - Puddle/Water Layering Experiement

What stands out right away is the water, in something as small-scale as a puddle it should be completely transparent (unless it's really dirty water) and not blue, it should also not have ripples in the way yours has. Re: Late Night Repairs

Finally done :D RepInProg_final_forum.jpg Getting the materials right took most of the time, maybe I was doing something wrong but surfaces just seemed to be rather dull and non-reflective, even with everything cranked up pretty high in the material settings. But eventually I got it to where it look...

Re: Interior Render

Yep, definitely got the 60's feel to it as SpookyChick said, especially the couch and table. Render itself turned out really nicely too, good job!

Re: Twilight only for Sketchup pro and old make now?

Just now saw this thread, and yeah, I was feeling very meh about them discontinuing the Make version. Now they even changed the launch screen to "Make isn't getting any younger, consider switching to these alternatives" and those being free and pro. Since the free version is basically a st...

Re: Student apartment, shower test.

Oh it's a cutout, I guess that whould have been obvious to me  Thing is, I've seen some actual designs that don't use a door and where the bathroom is just open to the rest of the place so I just had to ask :D
