Far from a render "purist" I'm a big fan of 'photo-artistic' over photorealism... although I have a love and high respect for photorealism, I just don't get paid to do it.

This material works really nicely on single pane/no thickness materials like for a quick light fixture, thanks Miguel!
It renders very slowly on 1/16" thick glass.
also, with IOR at 1= air. ... so light goes right thru it. yet looks great.
