Re: Denoiser - I don't see any difference
I would say it's pretty certain that the Denoiser isn't running successfully. The first image doesn't look any different than the second. I recommend that you test the function of the Denoiser first. Run a very simple scene, maybe 800x600 of just the sky and a simple model. Make sure you run with In...

Re: Background Problem
Hi Dave, So I can confirm that, yes, using the Parallel Projection camera (also known as orthographic projection) with a spherical sky will produce the results you see. This is undoubtedly because the way a spherical sky is mapped into the 3D world just isn't compatible with the idea of parallel pro...

Re: Background Problem
I wanted to make sure we didn't introduce a new problem with the most recent release. I will take a look at the orthographic projection vs perspective issue. It's not something we were previously aware of.

Re: Environment not working
@Dave, I'll take a look at the Projection vs Perspective view. That may be a previously unknown issue; I personally never use the orthographic projection... @humanunhuman, if enabling a tag causes the render to change, 99% of the time this means you have geometry in the scene causing problems. Witho...

Re: Composent disappears
Please post an example .skp file the demonstrates the problem.
The most likely issue is that you have a material on both sides of the wall face. Twilight Render only renders one material per face. We recommend only applying a material to the front face.

Twilight Render 2.17.12
We have released a new update with a variety of fixes and feature improvements. The Post-processing popup is now resizeable and should be sized more accurately for its content. The Batch Rendering editor now allows deleting of batch items using the 'Delete' or 'Backspace' keys. Additionally, some se...

Re: Animation - visible layers
Ok. Interesting. SketchUp exposes a method that allows Twilight Render to tell it, "position the animation at 1.4 seconds", or whatever. And SketchUp does that and that is how TWR controls the animation for rendering. But there is a totally different mechanism that SketchUp uses that is ju...

Re: Animation - visible layers
We will look into this. Twilight Render doesn't maintain its own visibility (or anything for that matter) for an object, it just uses what SketchUp says. So there shouldn't be a difference. We will look into what might be going on, but if you can provide a file that reproduces what you are experienc...
