Re: Windows 32 bits -> 64 bits possible? (8 GB RAM)

Don't think you can do a direct upgrade from 32bit to 64bit, reinstall is in need. But it's worth of the trouble. Win7 64 bit should work fine and actually when you run 32bit program under 64bit windows that program should get a tiny bit more ram to use than in 32bit windows. Go for it.

Re: Sharp corners = unrealistic

I'm now trying this plugin on some furniture models... Where do you guys find time to read the 9 page instruction manual and play around with the plugin? I mean it just feels overwhelming at times, all these different plugins. Never watched the video or read the manual, UI was intuitive enough for ...

Re: Equipment Trailer

Untill a retro-reflector template is build, no. Before that, only solution is to build a KT library of retro-reflectors and use that in Twilight. The material I used here was a simple Lafortune material. For parameters you should take a look on http://www.cs.utah.edu/~wmartin/lafortune/

Re: Equipment Trailer

Just a crude retro-reflective material test - needs still some fine tuning. Just keep an eye how that red/white retro-reflective stripe behaves in different light, never mind the rest of trailer. Kerkythea used as a material editor; you might want to look on a Lafortune material.

Re: Equipment Trailer

you would have to build a material or model that actually acts like the real reflector material works in real life. while this is theoretically possible, come to think of it - I don't really know how those reflector materials work in real life. :? Many retroreflective materials use micro glass bead...

Re: How fast you are ?

30 s Core i7 920 4GB Ram I think i tis a good result Hate to say, but I think i7 920 do have potential to a bit faster result. With my i7 920 (at Windows 7 64 bit RC) I get 25 s, but it's know that Win7 RC do have around 10-20% speed penalty, when comparing to release version. So I would expect i7 ...
