I like the blue!
I think these are great! The only part I have criticism for is the walkway / path texture seems strange (though it's hard to say since it's at a sharp view angle).

Re: update
Yeah... I'm not sure what that's all about either...
Currently Twilight does not provide either network or displacement. Network rendering is on the list, but we don't have any actual plans for displacement.

Re: Activating License code
Twilight Render versions prior to 1.1 used a file to activate the license. Twilight Render versions after 1.1 use a text code to activate the license. You requested your license using 1.0.6, so you were sent a binary activation file. But before you got the file you upgraded to 1.1 and so you weren't...

Re: Instancing problem...?
Ah, I understand now. I was misunderstanding. The one thing that comes to mind, something I think I saw on SketchUcation, that there is a 'bug' in SU where groups that are identical, ie. cut-and-paste, are actually treated as if they were instances of the same component. When a group is edited in so...

Re: Instancing problem...?
I will restate, so Chris' investigation goes as simply as possible, there seems to be the same problem with groups as with components...? Actually that is an interesting point. Groups are definitely not supposed to act that way... So when you only have groups, no components at all, it still doesn't...

Re: Instancing problem...?
Hm... that is a problem. In Twilight, an "instance" is a literal copy, down to the last vertex. Obviously SU doesn't treat instances that way; it evaluates each one separately for 'face me' behavior. When Twilight prepares a scene for rendering, it only makes a single copy of components; t...

Re: Wood
There has been some questions about this in the past. There isn't any reason why you can't use one of the other templates. The templates have been tailored toward a specific "look", but Plastic -> Satin might be the exact look you want for a wood floor, or Stone -> Polished. So, if you don...

Re: New PC..question about license file transfer
It will require a new license; Twilight is tied specifically to a given OS installation. Go to Options -> About -> Request License. Save the file to the desktop or somewhere convenient. Then email that file to licensing at twilightrender dot com with a brief explanation of the situation. We will sen...
