Re: Editing spherical skies?
I was suggesting that you search the web, not just this forum. At Kerkythea's forum, you can find some under the heading "Globals and HDR Skies" . Hello again, Fletch! Yes, I knew you were suggesting that I search the web, and I did so. That was why I asked again, mentioning duckduckgo (a...

Re: Editing spherical skies?
One more thing, should you know, and be willing to tell. I've got spherical skies pack 1, and Light Tents by rayman, I believe it was (from twilight forums here ). Perhaps my duckduckgo searching is not up to snuff, but I have not found many sphericals, and essentially no hemispherical images (for m...

Thank you very much, Fletch! I knew there must be some things to look out for. Much obliged for the links also.

Editing spherical skies?
I have searched for this without luck in twilight forums so if it's already there, please point me there and we can nuke this thread. I know my way around Photoshop and would like to play around with one or more of the spherical skies so that the 1) tree line is removed or at least lowered; and 2) t...

Re: Concrete appears glassy, paint disappears?
Well, that's a great idea! I'm in the middle of bringing in those plugins, reversing faces, and so forth. I'm pretty sure that must be it.
Thanks very much,
Jay

Concrete appears glassy, paint disappears?
I've got a 'concrete' surface with a black painted circle on it (among many other things) that, for the life of me, I can't get right. It's an outdoor scene surrounded by a bit of flat dirt and then hills beyond and above. PROBLEMS: - concrete looks shiny, very blue (except the section to the right ...

space, stars, earth - 360?
Just in case anybody has any ideas, I am looking for a way to set a near space vehicle (at from 60-100,000 ft of altitude) in a reasonably realistic setting and move it around a bit, and even set it still and move my camera around it. So a single/still image might not do it all, though it might! Ide...

Re: How to use Twilight with SketchyPhysics
Simple, if frustrating! I suppose some applications will have to use Proper Animation. I shall look into that too.Chris wrote:Camera animation is controlled solely by the scene positions. The additional control that SketchyPhysics does over the camera doesn't get used at all.
Thank you, Chris,
Jay

Re: Alpha Chan/Transparency in SketchyPhysics Animations?
ok, glad it's starting to work for you. create a droplet in photoshop for your action, then you just drop your folder onto the droplet icon, and it runs it automatically on the whole folder. Ah yes, I had remembered droplets, but forgot where they were. An excellent alternative. Saving in PNG of co...

Re: Alpha Chan/Transparency in SketchyPhysics Animations?
Thanks again, Fletch. It's Sony Vegas, but not Pro. I have found a way to get there from here, for now. I did as you suggested and made the alpha mask render in png format. Fast and easy. Then I did a Photoshop Action to make the png bg layer editable, select all the black, clear it, deselect, save ...
