Re: Install problems

Good! Yep, I see it now. :D So the Deep editor can be opened in several ways. 1. Plugins -> Twilight Render V2 -> Deep Material Editor 2. Click on the Material Editor button in the toolbar, then with the eyedropper active, right click in the scene and choose 'Deep Material Editor' from the menu, th...

Re: Install problems

Yeah. I've still got the activation page: https://www.twilightrender.com/index.php/downloads/131?cid=dfe279a56c318e69b07f1a2d52ca3dd07e6971f2 sitting in front of me. I put in the product code from my purchase email. I've been checking my inbox since, and haven't yet seen an activation code. As soon ...

Re: Install problems

Thanks, Chris. I'll give that a try, and get back to you about it. I still have my Product Code for 2.7 from my original purchase tucked away. No worries about the issue with Animator; that's a plugin I wasn't planning on DLing and using anyhow. Cathryn UPDATE: Got it installed with no trouble. 8-) ...

Re: Install problems

Certainly Chris. Sorry for the delay. Christmas was good. EDIT: Got the Hobby version installed, with no trouble whatsoever. Did a render as a test, with a model that previously seemed to run reasonably fast. All I have to say is (ahem): :emp: UN-HOLY SITHSPAWN! :emp: 100passes at 8threads, in 5:09?...

Re: Showing some recent pieces

I'm not getting perfect results with it. Still can't manage a proper cloud texture Shinedo RenderSmall.jpg But I did get some cool effects that (with a little postpro) allowed me to put together a cute but sadly not very realistic galaxy. Galaxy PoC Post ProSmall.jpg Personally, I'm really happy wit...

Re: Showing some recent pieces

Thanks Fletch! I'm rather proud of them my self. I probably should have put those up in chronological order, to reflect the progress made. With some of the others, I've been finding innovative solutions as partial workarounds for limitations, like the lack of particle effects. With the right texture...

Re: Install problems

Thanks Chris. The weird thing is that at one point I did get it showing up in the Plugins dropdown-menu, it just wouldn't start. I have no idea what was done that at least got it into the menu. I hope it doesn't come down to a refund. I've been eagerly awaiting buying version 2 for a long time so I ...

Re: Showing some recent pieces

A fun piece, playing around with ideas for bridging the gap between starships designed by people with no creativity, and starships designed by art majors. Sword of Light Class Battlecruiser 6.jpg This one I recently modeled as a way of playing with and noting down some ideas for a sci-fi piece I'm t...

Showing some recent pieces

I've been meaning to post some things here for quite a long while now, and never got around to it. There's actually a lot I didn't get around to doing, as I was having to deal with some long term health issues for a large portion of the last three years, and I quit being able to do much of anything,...
