I had a good look at the Render Challenge and learned a fair bit, boy had I over done some things :oops: I've changed some materials, noticeably the glass and metals, I changed the spots to IES's and I played with the sun to get better shadows. The originals are 2500x1250 a big reduction from the 40...

Wow, I didn't realise this about history, thats going to be SO useful, thanks.

I'll have a look at that thread, it looks like the sort of exercise I need.

All I've done is change from easy10 to easy09, I kept it to a timed render of 4 hours like before as the batch ran overnight but it was very clear when I started the batch just how much faster 09 is by how quickly the image started to resolve before I left. The original 3000x1500 images are far bett...

I've got to be honest and say that a lot of the individual settings befuddle me and I'd read that Easy 10 is the go to setting if you don't know what you're doing like me :oops:
I'll run them again tonight with Easy 09 and see what I get.

Refurbishment of existing shopping centre

Existing building is a LOT of 80's stripy brick, the client want to modernise it without tearing down too much of the existing. Added render to lower sections of the walls and rain screen cladding to the upper with louvres to hide the roofs from eye level. 4000x2000, Easy10, 3 hours each, batch rend...

Refurbishment of an existing building, images could have done with more cooking and I may re-render them later.
3000x1500, Easy10, 4 hours each, Batch rendered over night.
