Re: Camera target?
Huh... that's weird. The first post says you posted this thread a week ago. But I haven't seen it until now! :? Weird. Anyway... there are some changes coming to how framing, view, targeting etc is done in Twilight. Up to now it hasn't included any 'target' indication, but I agree that having it wou...

Re: Forum feedback / improvements / suggestions
Is there a way to make the "Jump to first unread" button bigger? Since that's part of the specific theme you are using, and it's not the default theme, it's not really practical to try to change. If I was more experience at PHP forum theme stuff, then I would but as of now it's mostly jus...

Re: A word about my 2.5d trees...
Thanks Tom!! I appreciate the update. :D SketchUp treats images differently from normal geometry. Why, I don't know, because it's completely unnecessary. Exploded images are just a single rectangle with a texture applied, so why the complexity built on top... who knows. What I do know is that it mak...

Re: Juice Glass
Most liquids like this, juice, milk, etc, are a kind of sub-surface scattering because they have particles suspended in liquid. So, if you didn't use sss, you could try it out.

Re: SULayers vs. TWL Layers
Just to clarify. If a layer in the Twilight menu is checked, it will defer to the SU layer visiblity, meaning it will render if SU has the layer visible. If it is unchecked, it will not be rendered regardless of the SU layer visibility. So it doesn't override any SU visibility, it merely applies an ...

Re: 64bit Windows
I'd say fairly likely the problem is memory. Try rendering a very small size, like 200x200. If that works, then it's almost certainly memory. If it doesn't, then it's possible there is a geometry issue that we need to look at it. Assuming the file isn't too large, you can send it to support at twili...

Re: 64bit Windows
Rendering in the background doesn't mean it uses less than 100%. It just means that if another application wants to run, priority will be given to that other application. But it will still run at maximum CPU, no matter what (this is assuming you are using the maximum suggested threads). As far as cr...

Re: Courts Entry Porch
Wow, that's a great improvement. I think highlighting the door is totally appropriate. It gives the image a "subject", which is always more appealing. Roof material adds some great detail.

Re: Twilight question basic (new user)
Twilight is only 32 bit. We don't know if there will be a 64bit version in the future, or if it will even matter, since it's run from inside SketchUp which is not 64bit. Twilight renders model scenes, but it does not "bake" textures. It can be used for that (I've done it) but it's not easy...
