There is a work around, if you have SU6 installed then save all your components as SU6 models (my plant collection is SU6) and funny enough Vue 7 will see them and the thumbs will be viewable.

However Sketchup could not handle that amount of poly's needed to create the scene, so I cannot prove you wrong.

Good start, I too agree that one needs to forget poly numbers for product shots, try make geometry as smooth as possible as the power of these shots is in the detail. I would also avoid any background geometry, even corners are distractions, maybe create a studio setup with white lighting so as to c...

Sorry to hear you having such a dismal time, I have been very lucky using a company called Cyberpower, there have been a few shipping complaints from some customers but all in all I have bought 3 computers from them and all three times I was impressed with quality and service.

yes please, what would also be great is for a way to set the render to 100 or 200 passes and then it saves and closes.
